It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. Bastian of Washington, Illinois, born in Glasford, Illinois, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Tyler and Margaret Pruitt Tyler; her husband George Bastian; and her sister Betty Golden. She is survived by : her sister Patricia Pitts; her children, Debra Petersen (Arnold), Robert Pitts (Christine), Martin Pitts (Darlene) and Michael Pitts (Lori Galyean); and her brother William Onken (Gail). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
