Barbara Bolander Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Bolander of Washington, Illinois. Barbara, born on June 23, 1944, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Maxwell and Clara Lowe Maxwell; her husband James "Joe" Bolander; her son Christopher; and her siblings, Gene Maxwell Jr., David Maxwell and Donna Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Maple (Ralph) of Washington and Peggy Hinkle of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.; and her sister Peggy Maxwell of Morton. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mason-White Funeral Home (20 Valley Forge Dr, Washington, IL 61571). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Tazewell County Resource Center (T.C.R.C.) in Pekin.
