With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill D. Hexamer of Washington, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his former wife Karen Hodshire Hexamer; his wife Virginia; his daughters, Christy Smith (Nick) and Lisa Velasquez (John); his stepchildren, Steve Dixon (Jeannie), Karen Walton (Dave) and Sara Hutchison (Roger); and his brothers, Tom Hexamer (Eva) and Bob Hexamer (Jeanette). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Wheels of Time Museum.
