Billie W. Long Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billie W. Long of Washington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Long and Frances Long (Gray). He is survived by: his children, DeMeris McGrath (Robert) of Washington, IL, Michael Long (Lauri) of Peoria Heights, IL, Steven Long (Deb) of Washington, IL and Jessica Long of Washington, IL; his grandchildren, Bobby Jr., Jaime, Ashley, Natalie, Maygan, Jenna, Michael Jr., Mahleia and Lina; and his siblings, Delores Pryor (Maurice) of Girard, IL, Carolyn Nuckols (Jim) of Auburn, IL, Jack Long (Damaris) of Gallipolis, OH, Jimmie Long (Bylle) of Metamora, IL and Jamie Long (Kay) of Girard, IL. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
