He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Shaver and Margaret Crumley Shaver; his wife Joni Paris; his stepson Seth Rhodes; his sons, Paul Shaver (Candi) of Chandlerville, Illinois, Bryan Shaver of Muscatine, Iowa and Corey Shaver of Washington; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Crew and Zoë; and his sisters, Nancy Clark of Beloit and Gloria Demarteleare of Macomb.
