He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Tyler and Margaret Chandler Tyler; his spouse Shirley Bailey; his children, Stephanie Mitchell (Chad) and Teige Tyler (Savannah); his stepdaughters, Amanda LaMont, Heidi Revelle and Holly Revelle; his sisters, Margaret Houston, Karen Boswell (David) and Vicky Tyler; and his daughter Stacy Johnson. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
