As Donald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donald. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Blair and Lillian C. Sparks Blair; his wife Mary Lee Garmers; his son-in-law Tim Snyder; and his grandson Ryan Snyder.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Blair of McCormick, SC, Jamie Schlappi (Art) of Waynesboro, VA, Becky Kelly (Jim) of East Peoria and Jill Snyder of Mackinaw; and his brother Wayne Blair. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to OSF Children's Hospital, St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, or OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
