Pickett of Washington, Illinois, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Rollie Pickett and Ollie Pickett (Long). He is survived by : his children, Michael Schafer, Donald Pickett II (Lorraine), Shawn Reber (Keith) and Shelly Pickett; his grandchildren, Kasandra Hartnett, C. J. Atchley, Victoria Bloom, Marissa Reber, Thomas Rosa and Michael Schafer, Jr.; and his siblings, Thomas Pickett, Sr. and Melodie Boyjisky. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oswald Funeral Home (328 S Locust St, Tremont, IL 61568). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
