He is survived by: his children, Brian Nichols (Melissa) of Washington, IL, Peter Nichols (Kelli) of Washington, IL and Martha Rients (Howard) of Towanda, IL; and his grandchildren, Courtney Nichols, Brice Nichols (Leah), Bailey Nichols (Morgan), David Hanson, Emelia Schinke (Aaron), Grace Rients, Emma Rients, Austin Nichols (Tatum), Grant Nichols (Stevee) and Abrienda Nichols. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
