She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Carlson and Lillian Paulsen Carlson; her husband Elmer L. McCormick; her daughter Cathy Jo Griffin; and her brother Eugene Carlson.
She is survived by: her daughter Terrie Pecenka (Del) of Washington; her grandchildren, Eric Pecenka (Kim), Christopher Pecenka (Riane), Brittany Pecenka (Nic Meller), Jennifer Griffin and Lindsey Griffin; and her sisters, Ellen Welk (John) of Addison, IL and Marilyn Carlson of Eureka, IL.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Traditions Hospice, an organization that provided compassionate care to Evelyn and her family.
