She is survived by: her children, Louis Hempen (Tricia) of Washington and Judi Gibson (Steve) of Hillsdale, IL.; her grandchildren, Matthew Gibson (Stephanie), Megan Frey (Kevin), Mallory Gibson (Ethan Swint), Ava Hempen and Olivia Hempen; her great grandchildren, Tyson, Emma and Calvin; and her sister Patsy Dudas of Washington.
