He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Hartseil (Robert) and Brenda Athens; and his grandchildren, Henry Allen Knox, Jeanie Thrasher (Bob), John P. Gardner Jr. (Crystal), Mina Howard (Don), Robert A. Gardner, Scott Stanton (Jessie) and Nick Trobaugh (Crystal). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home (2408 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria, IL 61614).
