He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathy Mortimer (Keith); and his siblings, Jim McCann, Marilyn Sieg (Harold), Nancy Rager (Ron) and Pat McCann (Dawn).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Andell of Patrick's Church; his children, Keith McCann (Farrah), Kim Birchler (Scott Rofkahr) and Kirk McCann (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Jessica Spicer (David), Dylan McCann (Brook), Briana Todd (Tayrell), Spencer McCann (Victoria), Henry McCann and Catherine McCann; and his brother Mike McCann (Lynn).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mason-White Funeral Home (20 Valley Forge Dr, Washington, IL 61571). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (705 E Jefferson St, Washington, IL 61571).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to T.A.P.S. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
