Irene H. Baker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2024, at the age of 99, Irene H. Baker of Washington, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas McGinnis and Anna Datisman McGinnis; her husband Vincent J. Baker; her son Dennis; and her sister Vera Sullivan.

She is survived by : her children, Gerald Baker of Florida, Diane Moore (Bob) of Petersburg, IL., Karen Cotton (Vernon) of East Peoria and Mary Hayse (Rick) of Peoria. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five step grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to the American Lung Association or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
