It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Charles Philips of Washington, Illinois, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his former life partner Nancy Sullivan Philips; his son David Philips; and his granddaughter Julia Philips. He is survived by : his pet Charlie; his son Dan Philips (Kim); his granddaughters, Eleanor Cullinan (Patrick) and Madeline Philips (Sean); and his great grandchild Julia Cullinan.
