She is survived by: her children, Franklin Thurston (Sherry) of Washington, Kenneth Thurston (Kimberly) of Spring Bay, Sandra Dirks (Russell) of Washington and Rodney Thurston (Dawn) of Washington; her grandchildren, Tera Thomas (Casey) of Metamora, Shannon Thomas of Washington, MacKenzie Wesselmann (Kevin) of Clayton, NC and Noah Thurston of Washington; her great grandchildren, Jeneva Thomas of Metamora and Tucker Wesselmann of Clayton, NC; and her sister Betty Clark of Marion.
