The passing of Kenneth Harris of Washington, Illinois, born in Huntingdon, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Harris; his stepfather Vel Cary; and his brother Larry Cary. He is survived by: his mother Sue Williams Harris; his wife Donna Cargill; his sons, Greg Harris of Peoria and Chad of Marquette Heights, IL.; his grandchildren, Jessica Quinn, Robert Waddle and Kaitlyn Harris; and his brother Rick Cary of Yuma. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Twin Oaks Missionary Baptist Church (210 Hemlock Ave, East Peoria, IL 61611).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association, Central Illinois chapter.
