He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Lee and Dorothy Elizabeth Blumenshine Belsly; and his siblings, Patricia Bolton, Ellamae Renken, Michael and Howard Belsly.

He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Murphy (Andrew) and Michael J. Belsly; his granddaughter Alexis Murphy; and his pets, Penny and Poppy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TAPS No Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin.
