We bid farewell to Mary E. Chapman of Washington, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. and Mary E. Waddell; her former husband Roger Chapman; and her daughters, Kimberly Hutson and Cynthia Crider.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene L. Crider; her daughter Monica Jones (Tim); her grandchildren, Summer DeVore (Kyn), Tyler Craig, Kristopher Hutson (Christie Klopfer) and Britt Craig; her great grandchildren, Justin, Addison, Kale, Gavin, Claire and Ryne; and her pets, Dolly, Josie, Kia and Dakota.
A committal service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (7519 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL 61614).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS) or Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS).
