She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Edwards and Nellie Edwards (Thrush); her husband David Matheny of Peter's Lutheran Church; and her brother James Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Linda Matheny-Kecskes (Dave) of Cape Coral, FL, Susan Elston of Washington, Laurie Forden (Dean) of Morton and Andrew Matheny of Washington. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Phyllis' name may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Washington.
