Richard Reiter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Reiter of Washington, Illinois, who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Reiter and Verneal E. Peters Reiter; his brother Ronald Reiter; and his nephew Alex Reiter. He is survived by: his wife Martha Bannan; his daughters, Jenny Peoples (Gary) and Jackie Reiter (Chris); his stepchildren, Angela Boley (Mike Moeckel), Malissa Biggerstaff (Perry) and Jerry Bannan (Michelle); his grandchildren, Zoe and Max; his stepchildren, Margaret, Maridith, Tyler and Jessica; his sister Janet Hancock (Steve); and his sister-in-law Sharon Reiter.
Because Rich was looking forward to taking an Honor Flight this fall; please direct memorials to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight.
