He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shawgo and Olive Shawgo (Johnson). He is survived by: his children, Michael Shawgo of Chicago, IL, Kenton Shawgo (Robin) of Astoria, IL, Gary Shawgo (Tami) of Peoria and Sharon Love (Scott) of Loves Park, IL; his grandchildren, Mandy Phipps (Kyle), Kerry Shawgo, David Love (Jamie), Sarah Jakymiw (Jim), Olivia German (Alex) and Evan Shawgo (Reily); and his brother Bernard Shawgo of Astoria. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Ipava Berean Christian Church.
