He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Flexer Sr.; his parents-in-law, Thomas Schmidt and Patricia Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Ron Hunt. He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Flexer; his wife Christine Flexer; his children, Dustin Flexer (Brandy Cady), Darian Flexer (Leia Hastings), Robin Ligman Jr. and Samantha Russell (Mitch); his grandchildren, Camille Flexer, Phynix Gordon, Jayden, Andrew Nelson and Levi Cady; his siblings, Cathy Calderas, Ronald Flexer Jr. and Jennifer Alexander (Blake); and his siblings-in-law, Teri Hunt, Mark Schmidt (Robin) and Steve Schmidt (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
