We are sad to announce that, on February 21, 2026, at the age of 63, Shelly J. Kettle of Washington, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James F. Humphrey; her spouse Claude "Earl" Kettle; her son Jason Kelch; and her nephew Cody Gilles. She is survived by: her mother Claudia A. Humphrey (Taylor); her children, Casey Melton (Brad), Kelli Brinker (Joel) and Ryan Kettle; her stepchildren, Ron Kettle, Melissa Laster (Kris), Jennifer Kettle, Jamie Kettle and Jonathan Kettle (Korinne); her grandchildren, Lorelei, Finley, Maeve, Sophia, Rosalie, Maverick, Hudson and Arya; and her siblings, Cindy Chiavini, Mark Humphrey (Terri), Sharon Harkless (Ron) and Mike Humphrey. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.
