With sadness, we share the passing of Virginia Doris Trobaugh in Washington, Illinois. Virginia, born on December 8, 1929, passed away on May 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Christoff and Virginia Christoff; her brothers, Bill Christoff and Charles Christoff; and her daughter Kathy Lynn McKelvey.

She is survived by: her husband John W. Trobaugh; her son Rick Trobaugh of Godfrey; her son-in-law Randy McKelvey of Belleville; and her grandchildren, Heather Allen, Kristen Black (Josh), Brent Trobaugh (Kari), Chad Trobaugh (Yolanda), Corey Trobaugh and Andrew Trobaugh (Rachel). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Baptist Church in Peoria, South Side Mission in Peoria, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
