He is survived by: his wife Faye Schilling; his children, Scott Schilling, Daphne Schilling, Courtney Sweeney (Mark) and Dustin Schilling (Hayley); and his grandchildren, Nathan Schilling, Austin Sweeney (Meadow Boden), Alex Sweeney (Ande Grohmann), Alyssa VanBuren and Zachary VanBuren.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (10 S Lincoln St, Smithton, IL 62285).
