With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol L. Wahn of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025 at the age of 78. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Steve Wahn (Karen L.) and Brian Wahn (Kristin L.); her grandchildren, Isabel and Max Wahn; her brothers, Jack Medendorp (Marcy), Jim Medendorp and Robert Mills; her sisters-in-law, Mary Withey (Sandy) and Wendy Wahn; her husband Harvey Lee Wahn Jr.; her parents, Fred Medendorp and Eleanor Medendorp; her sister Nancy Mills; and her parents-in-law, Harvey L. and Delores Wahn Sr.. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Susan G. Komen for the Cure or Parkinson's Foundation.
