The memory of Dixie L. Eichelmann of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Hartford, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley R. Eichelmann; her parents, Walter Pickett and Aleta Joy Pickett; her children, Connie and Les Champlin; and her grandson Michael Champlin.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Meegan and Raymond Hankins; and her siblings, Bart Pickett (Sandy) and Connie Caldwell (Bernie). She is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
