He was predeceased by: his siblings, Herman Stratman, Alfred Statman, Odelia DuBuque, Dave Stratman, Leona Engel and Arnold Stratman.
He is survived by: his wife Clara M. Stratman; his children, Ken Stratman (Susan), Connie Stratman and Susan Ratz (Ken); his grandchildren, Sarah Kammer (Jeff), Samantha Mercer (Joey), Sydney Hollingsworth (Elliot), Angela Stratman, Caroline Eschmann (Nate), John Stratman and Matthew Stratman; his great grandchild Bryce Eschmann; his siblings, Evelyn Baum, Cletus Stratman (Judy), Barbara Boone (Tom), Karen Papke (David) and Tony Stratman (Laura); and his brothers-in-law, Samuel Kohler (Sue) and Gary Wallner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Alzheimer's Association.
