She was predeceased by: her parents, John Showmaker and Nindie Showmaker; her daughter Sandy (Jerry Wright); and her siblings, Buddy, Willie Showmaker and Rosie Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Brungardt, Patty Eversman (Kevin) and Ed Holton (Sheryl); and her brothers, James Showmaker and Cecil Showmaker (Joann). She is also survived by her six grandchildren, her four great-grandchildren, and her great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
