He was predeceased by : his parents, Lillian Shapiro and Frank Shapiro; his sister Francis Friedman; his brothers-in-law, Stanley Friedman and Paul Lippold; and his cousin Spencer Strellis (Judith).
He is survived by : his significant other Lisa Curtis; his sister Anne Lippold; his children, Dan Andrew (Kristin), Gregg Everett (Rana), Drew Soaring-Eagle (Chi Lam) and Tess Moran (Noah); his stepsons, Jason Alan and Brian Edward (Julie); and his grandchildren, Owen Davis, Scott Colter, Zack Freedom, Kate Liberty, Calista Justice, Shaw Thorgerd, Sloan Unnur, Stark Ref, Steele Katla, Andre Thunder, Kolton Charles, Blake Edward and Madeline Annmarie.
