He is survived by: his sister Nancy Klein (Othmar) of Mascoutah, IL; his children, Jeff Richter (LorEtta), Joel Richter, Julie Wallin (Tom) of Mascoutah, IL and Jodie Nikolaisen (Steve) of Waterloo, IL; and his grandchildren, Ashley Huels (Nick), Justin, Jacob, Jessica Richter, Ryan, Zachary, James Richter of Mascoutah, IL, Christian, Faith, Grace Nikolaisen of Waterloo, IL, Tyler Wallin and Ryley Wallin (Erin) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Mascoutah FFA; or a tree planted in his memory would be appreciated.
