It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John L. Bueschel of Waterloo, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John L. Bueschel to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Bueschel and Mary Bueschel (Mauess); his in-laws, Joseph and Catherine Branson; his siblings-in-law, Richard Branson, Alvin Mehrtens Jr. and Jeanette Branson; and his sibling's children, Bill Branson and Mendy Mehrtens.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bueschel; and his son Brendan. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as tons of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: the Family for Brendan's care.
