She was predeceased by: her parents, Plummer Bailey and Hilda Bailey (Granget); her husbands, Ted Patterson and Shirley; and her brother Bert Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Harley Ralph Patterson of Waterloo, IL, Sharon Black (Berry) of Waterloo, IL and Jeanne Haley (Carl Specking) of Festus, MO; her grandchildren, Dr. Brandi Pettis (Daniel Collins), Dustin Patterson, Jared Patterson (Christine), Bryan Black (Deidre Piers), Sheri Black (James Milburn), Jennifer Lucas (Rickie), Stefanie McCanless (Sam) and Steven Haley Jr. (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Branden Owens, Dylan Owens, Ava Lucas, Olivia Lucas, Taylor Patterson, Caden Patterson, Brooklyn Patterson, Brody Patterson, Teddy Patterson, Tinsley Patterson, Blakely Patterson, MaKayla Todd, Chase Downing, Addisyn Downing, Rebecca Collins and Victoria Collins; her sister Jackie Brown (Madeline); and her daughter-in-law Jean Patterson of Waterloo, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM. Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
