With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Mary Simmons of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sieli and Elizabeth Sieli (William Simmons). She is survived by: her children, Angela Marie Simmons and Robert Rowlands Simmons; her grandchildren, Trevor William Simmons and Kaila Marie Simmons; and her siblings, Kathleen M. Collmeyer and Elmer Sieli. She is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
