He was predeceased by : his parents, Leroy Otten and Billea Otten (Hack); his son Terry Otten; and his brothers, Roy "Sonny" Otten and Gerry Otten.
He is survived by : his children, Donna Washausen (Keith) and Gene Otten (Kim); his siblings, David Otten (Ellen) and Rosalie Kern (Allen); his grandchildren, Jessica Brafford (Russell), Nicolas Otten (Nikki), Kasey Kemper (Jack) and Emma Otten; and his great grandchildren, Shea Brafford, Evelyn Brafford, Russell Brafford, Alivia Otten and Cheyenne Otten (Teresa Rusteberg). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
