We announce the death of Nancy L. Batson of Waterloo, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. Batson; her parents, Paul Singletary and Maude Singletary; her sister Anne Carter; her son-in-law Danny Tenholdner; and her great grandchild Zander Batson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Batson (Jama), Terri Tenholdner, Randy Batson (Beth) and Carla Mercer (Ron Stumpf); and her grandchildren, Jeremy (Megan), Joshua (Cheryl), Kyle, Daniel (Casey), Randell (Steph), Jacob (Erica), Logan, Maddie (DJ) and McClane.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
