He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel C. McCarthy and Hazel C. McCarthy; his brother Allan McCarthy (Irene); and his parents-in-law, Howard and Melba Riechmann.
He is survived by: his wife Jane McCarthy; his children, Dan McCarthy (Gayle), Mike McCarthy (Kristin) and Mary Neff (Ben); his grandchildren, Alyssa Lee (Ian), Mallory Sensel (Carson), Isabelle McCarthy, Morgan McCarthy, Riley McCarthy, Troy Neff and Drew Neff; his great grandchild Everett Lee; his sisters, Joan Smith (Thomas) and Gertie Eshom (Bob); and his brother-in-law John Riechmann (Patricia). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: St. Mary Parish Building Fund.
