He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Tony Bender (Julie) and Tim Bender (Jenn); his grandchildren, Hayden Bender, Luke Bender, Blake Bender and Caleb Bender; his stepsons, Thad Haas (Kerry), Mike Haas (Dalila) and Jacob Haas; his stepgrandchildren, Brayden Haas, Annika Haas and Madelyn Haas; and his siblings, Mary Bender and Richard Bender (Carol).
