With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert R. Stueve of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester W. Stueve and Rudelle Mae Stueve; his brother William W. "Bill" Stueve; his father-in-law Cletus Shields; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Brennan and Rick Veit; his niece Stacey; and his nephews, Samuel and Jay.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Stueve; his children, Lori Root (James), Heather Sensel (Allyn) and Bryan Stueve (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Al, Erin Root, Alexis (Tristan Smith), Aidan Sensel, Dallas, Chloe, Sophie, Brody, Alivia, Tallan and Memphis Stueve; his siblings, James Stueve and Ruth Mason (Matt); his mother-in-law Charlotte Shields; and his sister-in-law Sandy Stueve. He is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
