With solemn reverence, we commemorate Wesley R. Eichelmann of Waterloo, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, whose life came to an end on June 27, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland P. Eichelmann and Mabel M. Eichelmann; his siblings, Opal Scheibe (Willard), Arlou Marquardt (Art), Otto (Mildred "Millie") and Eichelmann Paul Eichelmann (Leola); and his nephew Gary Marquardt.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Eichelmann; his children, Lisa Meegan and Raymond Hankins; and his nieces and nephews, Brenda Krebel (James), Sandy Baldwin, Carol Turnquist (Ray), Kevin Eichelmann, Robert Eichelmann (Denise), Randy Marquardt (Rose), Scott Marquardt (Darlene) and Tracy Marquardt (Char). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
