He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor E. Schultz and Margret Schultz (Hale); his son James Ray Schultz Jr.; his son-in-law Bryan Lambert; and his wife Ila Lehnus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Wood (Erwin) of Joliet and Joann Lambert of Watseka. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Martinton Church of Christ or Martinton Fire Department.
