He was predeceased by: his father David H. Hanson; his grandparents, Margaret Goodell, Charles Pollock and Leslie Goodell; his stepfather Michael Heidenreich; his aunt Mary Pollock; his uncle Rev. John; his grandmother Wolfe; and his pets, Copper and Flopsie.
He is survived by: his mother Bonita Heidenreich of Watseka; his siblings, David Hanson Jr. of Plant City, FL and Nancy Bowers of Paris, France; his niece April Frazier (Matt) of Florida; his great-niece Avalynn Frazier of Florida; his aunt Karen Fish of Milford; his uncle Paul Pollock of Milford; and his cousins, Cynthia Gossett of Milford, David Fish of Cloverdale, IN, Matthew Fish of Blackwell, OK, Michelle Dalton of Wisconsin and Tiffany Pollock of Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Baier Funeral Home (102 W Oak St, Watseka, IL 60970). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
