Richard Mayotte Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Mayotte of Watseka, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Mayotte and Mary Ellen Mayotte (Wall); and his siblings, Arnold "Pretz" Mayotte and Judy Lottinville. He is survived by: his wife Barb Mayotte of Watseka; and his children, Cindy Coughenour (Kevin) of Watseka, Dave Mayotte (Brenda) of Monticello, IN and Linda Hasbargen (Whitey) of Watseka. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Baier Funeral Home (102 W Oak St, Watseka, IL 60970). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edmund Catholic Church (219 E Locust St, Watseka, IL 60970). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (2280 E 1850 North Rd, Watseka, IL 60970).
Memorials may be made to Iroquois Memorial Hospice, Watseka American Legion Post 23, St. Edmund Catholic Church, or Donor's Choice.
