Roberta J. Barrie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta J. Barrie of Watseka, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roberta J. Barrie to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Cote and Mary Cote (Penley); her husband Joe H. Barrie; and her in-laws, Henry and Mary Barrie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Nink of Charlotte, NC, Barbara Montoya of Albuquerque, NM and Mary Cahoe (Jason) of Watseka; her grandchildren, Nicholas Nink (Melissa), Samantha Nink-Smith (Will), Rocky Nink, Zayne Nink, Jessy Montoya, Clayton Cahoe (Brittany Burton), Tanner Joe Cahoe (Sydni Farris), Heather Coffey and Thea Campbell (Dan); her great grandchildren, Elloise Nink, Jonah Nink, Brayden DeWitt, Bryton Cahoe, Oakley Cahoe, Bryson Watts and Vivian Roberta Cahoe; her sister Diane Moore (Reid) of Hickory, NC; and her friends, Donnie and Diana Wiley of Bourbonnais.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baier Funeral Home (102 W Oak St, Watseka, IL 60970). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (2280 E 1850 North Rd, Watseka, IL 60970).
Memorials may be given to the Iroquois Resident Home Activity Fund.
