We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gerald J. Probst Sr. of Watson, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Probst and Marie Probst (Wernsing); his wife Nancy Lee Crawford; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Grummel, David Probst and James "Jim" Probst.

He is survived by: his children, Gerald Probst Jr. (Rhonda), Douglas Probst and Tammy Watson; his grandchildren, Danielle, Nathan, Jessica, Alex, Jacob, Holly and Wyatt; his great grandchildren, Vanessa and Jaaziah Wade; and his siblings, Connie Probst Aird, Karl Probst, Richard Probst and Robert Probst. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial donations may be given to the local DAV Chapter 7 or to the Effingham American Legion Post 120.
