He was predeceased by : his mother Jessie Burton; his son Brad Newlin; and his sister Sharon Seeley. He is survived by : his father Paul Burton of Toledo; his wife Tommi Warfield of Watson; his children, Kenny Warfield (Leila) of Hewitt, Richard Shawn Newlin of Watson and Beth Sowers (Taylor) of Toledo; and his sister Sheila Fritts (Tom) of Toledo. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watson Baptist Church (100 N Old Watson Rd, Watson, IL 62473). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
