He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Meek and Viola Meek. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kay Meek; his children, Jennie Ebersole (Scott), Jeremy (Jen) and Amy Hammock; his grandchildren, Lauryn, Tyler, Darren and Savannah Kay; and his sisters, Vivian Bibler (Charles) and Yvonne Denlinger (Terry).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home (235 N Main St, Wauconda, IL 60084). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one of Jerry's favorite charities: The American Cancer Society or the Addus Hope Foundation via JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, Illinois.
