Gul of Wauconda, Illinois, born in Winfield, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Rickie Genthe, Ruth Chastain and Donald Chastain; his great-grandparents, Stanley and Gwen Gul; and his great-great-grandparent Victoria Gul.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Gul; his sons, Joseph and Rory Gul of Wauconda; his parents, Mike Chastain and Linda Chastain of Prophetstown; his brothers, Eric Adcock (Alycia) of Prophetstown and Jeffrey Chastain of Prophetstown; his nephew Carson Adcock of Prophetstown; his grandfathers, Mark Genthe of Wheaton, IL and Robert Gul of Mt. Morris, IL; his parents-in-law, Ron and Cindy Otrembiak of Wauconda; his siblings-in-law, Ed Otrembiak of Wauconda, Kate Tramel (Alex) of Wheeling, IL and Becca Ellison of Chicago, IL; and his pet Lacey. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kristan Funeral Home (219 Maple Ave, Mundelein, IL 60060). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home (320 Lafayette St, Prophetstown, IL 61277).
