He was predeceased by : his parents, George Mooney and Mary Kay Mooney; and his brother Patrick. He is survived by : his children, Daniel, Matthew, Joseph, Mary Kate and Rachel; his brothers, John Mooney and David Mooney; and the mother of his children Angela Mooney.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be received for the Redemption Center, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center dedicated to assisting in the process of bringing healing and hope to broken lives.
